Visit picturesque Cotswold towns and villages

The Cotswolds offers the very best of the quintessentially English countryside. Its rolling hills and postcard picture villages with beautiful Cotswold Stone houses are simply breathtaking. Designated as the largest area of outstanding natural beauty in England and Wales it has lots to offer the visitors as well as gorgeous views.

Only 20 minutes drive away is Bourton on the Water which straddles the River Windrush. It’s so pretty with its Cotswold stone houses and low bridges. Great to wander around or you can enjoy the many tourist attractions including Birdland, The Motor Museum or The Model Village.

Only 4 miles further on you will find Stow on the Wold a fabulous market town that retains all the charm of its industrious past. Again wonderful to simply meander around or take a look at its antique shops, art galleries and gift and craft shops.

Another market town worth a visit is Moreton in Marsh which still holds a lively market every Tuesday. Spectacular Cotswolds villages that you must include in your visit include Upper and Lower Slaughter, Winchcombe,  magnificent Broadway and idyllic Stanton to name but a few.
